I bet you didn't know that terrapins tango? Well, they do. And they want you to come dance with them. The Terrapin Tango Festival has welcomed both new and experienced dancers in the D.C. area for four years. We provide an open and electric atmosphere by bringing talented artists and DJs to our festival for you to enjoy.

The Stamp Student Union at the University of Maryland provides an exceptional facility for teachers and students alike. Our milongas feature proven and passionate DJs, who will inspire your dancing soul. Our Saturday Grand Milonga even features live music provided by the Tango Mercurio Community Orchestra. Our festival was built so that you could give your heart to tango - and so we can do the same.

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost. ~Martha Graham
