Mission Statement Delta Epsilon Mu is committed to serving the community by advocating health education and care, and through active participation in service activities, fundraising, and outreach programs. Members are given the opportunity to directly participate in health-oriented workshops and discussions, thereby attaining access to pertinent academic and career information. History The Gamma Chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu was founded in the Spring of 2005 at the University of Maryland, College Park. The founding class consisted of 18 students who ranged from freshmen to juniors. The Beta Chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu at the University of California, Davis was the parent chapter who helped cross us over from a colony into a full fledged chapter. Just last semester, Fall 2007, we rushed our Zeta class consisting of 23 students. |
