Background:

After two successful and very well received weekend workshops of spoken samskritam, we have been getting some requests for a third similar weekend workshop. Unfortunately, we may not able to do it in the near future. However, for all those who missed the first two, and especially for those who can't spend two days, we have a "pilot" session through a Samskrita Sandhya. You will not be able to get the full benefit of a 2 day workshop, but you will surely get a good feel for how the langauge can be learned through the Samskrita-Bharati's listen-speak-read-write method. The 3 hour session will include interactive lessons, stories, games, some entertainment events - all in samskritam. For those who have attended any of the previous workshops or classes or have some basic knowledge of spoken samskritam, this session will help revise the material as well as to keep in touch with the language. There will also be an on-the-spot registration for the 4-day residential camp at Vraj temple coming up during the memorial day weekend. The details about the camp, including registration fee is given at http://www.desiumd.org/camp

Samskritam language, as has been universally recognised by those competent to form a judgement, is one of the most magnificent, the most perfect, the most prominent and wonderful sufficient literary instrument developed by the human mind.
