For Lack of a
Better Word

The Faux Paz recorded their third album, For Lack
of a Better Word, over the course of about 24 hours in February '05
at the School of Music Studio at Carnegie Mellon University in
Pittsburgh. It is a live studio album, and the whole thing was
recorded, mixed, and edited by Ari Winters. Like our previous
albums, it was
well received by the folks at RARB, who praised the "hot
arrangements" and "excellent vocal percussion", as well as our
"insightful syllables, nicely crafted chords, and a mindful control of
intensity."
