You only need to attend ONE of these two audition dates.   Auditions will be in music wing of CSPAC. Follow the Faux Paz Signs! Come ready to sing something for us (a cappella, of course!).  We're looking for guys and girls of all voice parts, so come on out and bring a friend!  Call backs will be Friday, September 9th. We usually only have auditions in the fall semester, so don't miss your chance!

About Us:  The Faux Paz was founded in 1993 and is the oldest coed a cappella group on campus.  Each semester, we perform at several concerts on campus, around the Baltimore/Washington region, and all around the country.  Over the past few years, we've recorded five CDs, made it to the finals of a national competition, and have traveled as far as Boston, New Orleans, and Los Angeles.    Faux is one of the more eclectic a cappella groups at Maryland, having done everything from Motown to country to hard rock, and everything in between.  Above all, though, the Faux are a great group of friends who love to have a good time and who love making great music. 

This past year, we were lucky enough to sing with the Tufts Beelzebubs (as heard on Glee) at our Spring Invitational and advanced to the International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella Semifinals in South Carolina. We hope you'll come out to join us this coming school year!
