Comments: Janani Karunaratne is going to be the future mad scientist of the group, with her major being microbiology.  She was born in the USA to her Sri Lankan parents. She made her singing debut in the 2^nd grade with "Swans on the Lake", while accompanying herself on the piano.  You might have seen her on American Idol when she tried out in 2004, or singing with Jessica Simpson for President Bush's first inauguration in 2000.  She is proud to have been a member of Winston Churchill High School's show choir for 4 years, where she won awards for her solo voice at national competitions.  She was honored to sing the Star-Spangled Banner for her graduating class of 2005.  A fun fact would be that 68% of the time you tickle her, you're guaranteed she will tinkle in her pants.  She loves to play sports, go hiking, driving on the country side, and most of all spending time with her lovely family who she adores.  She is super flippin' excited to be in Faux Paz, and can't wait for the rest of the world to see what a talented group this really is!
