We celebrate our heritage through events that allow us to proudly display aspects of all Latino cultures, while educating others of our traditions and customs. The LSU creates a voice for the Latino community by identifying the issues of Latino students on campus and advocating to the University administration to adress these needs. We also strive to serve the Latino community off campus through community service events projected at the upward movement of our community. The LSU host numerous social events such as BBQs, pick-up soccer, and parties. The LSU serves as a home away from home by giving students the opportunity to meet other Latinos and form lasting friendships while creating an overall sense of familia on campus.
