This Spring, five mixed race twenty-somethings
will travel to 16 different cities in 13
states in a 26,000 foot RV to raise awareness
of America's multiracial baby boom in
the Generation MIX National Awareness Tour.
Sponsored by the Mavin Foundation, the
nation's leading organization, advocating
for mixed race individuals and families,
the tour includes activities fair featuring
multiracial health information, resources
for parents and educators, dialogues on
the multiracial experience and much more!
The Multiracial Biracial Student Association
has been working with Mavin and on Saturday
April 23 Generation MIX is coming to the
University of Maryland!
We need your help! We need volunteers
for the event as well as people to help
get the word out to the campus and surrounding
communities. There will be a meeting
at 5 p.m. Wednesday April 6
in the Pyon Su room of Stamp Student
Union. We will be discussing the tour
and ways to get involved. If you can't
make the meeting but are still interested
