Maryland Neuroscience Society

FAQ

Q. I am not a science major. Why should I join the club?
A. This club is aimed at bringing together UMCP students from a wide variety of academic disciplines so as to bring a greater understanding of the importance of current and future brain research into the limelight. Let’s face it. No matter what you are interested in, some aspect of the
brain is involved. If you an engineering major, understanding principles of computational neuroscience will help you in building a more advanced computer of the future. If you are interested in education, gaining insight into the development of the brain and understanding the physiology of learning is invaluable in helping children. So, we encourage non-science majors to join us.

Q. Do I need a certain GPA?
A. Nope. You just need to be a current undergraduate.
