Letter from the Coach, Matt Rosenthal:
The Univeristy of Maryland Roller Hockey team is excited about the upcoming 2004-2005 season. We look to have two strong teams (an A team and a B team) competing in the Eastern Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (ECRHA), and the newly formed National Collegiate Roller Hockey Association (NCRHA). The four main goals for our team are: one, that each player gives their best effort; two, that the team is a cohesive group; three, that we play as a team, not individual; and four, that the players encourage one another. Our team is coming off our most successful season in history. We finished second in the ECRHA Regional Tournament, and we made it all the way to the Sweet 16, before barely losing to #4 Michigan State. We look to reach even greater success this year!
