The Organization of Arab Students at University of
Maryland has several functions. We want to promote
the unity of Arabs, Arab_Americans, and those who
are interested in Arab culture and issues.
We want to maintain our cultural identity and enhance
the image of Arab culture. We also want to go beyond
members of the OAS to all members of the campus community
by advancing awareness and an understanding of the Arab
world and promote its cultural heritage by offering
students the opportunity to experience and celebrate Arab
heritage through educational and social events.
