PITA is a bipartisan political advocacy group at the University of Maryland, dedicated to strengthening the United States and Israel through the U.S.-Israel relationship. PITA is committed to building and maintaining alliances with a broad coalition of groups in order to cultivate broad-based campus support for Israel and the U.S.-Israel alliance. PITA members include Democrats, Republicans and independents, as well as individuals who identify with the Israeli political left, right and center.
