About Primannum
The Primannum Honor Society is a University of Maryland Honor Society which represents two national honor societies, Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. Both of these national honor societies recognize academic excellence during a student's first year in college.
The purpose of these organizations is:
- to encourage superior academic achievement among students
- to promote intelligent living and a continued high standard of learning
- to assist women and men in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for thier roles in society
