1. Primannum Executive Board and Committee applications
If you are interested in being on the Executive Board next year, or want to serve on one of the committees, fill out the application form attached to this email. Applications are due by April 14 and can be submitted in 2141 Tydings.
2. Primannum Elections
Elections will be held at our General Body Meeting on April 21 at 6:30pm in 0130 Tydings. Come out, meet other members and vote!
3. Relay For Life
Sign up with Primannum Honor Society in this year's Relay for Life on May 2. Register at www.relayumd.org
4. Induction Ceremony Volunteers
Still looking for points? Our induction ceremony is on April 19 this year and we need a lot of volunteers! Volunteers must be available on Friday, April 17 from 2-3pm and on Sunday, April 19 from 2-6pm. Email us if you can commit to both times.
5. SGA Elections
Remember to vote next Tuesday 4/7 and Wednesday 4/8 for your 2009-2010 SGA! You can vote online at www.testudo.umd.edu. Visit the current SGA's website at www.umdsga.com for a list of all the candidates.

Some more updates and opportunities!
1. Volunteers needed! 1 point
We need volunteers next Wednesday, April 15 from 5-6pm in 2141 Tydings to help prepare bags for induction. Please email back if you are available the entire hour.
2. Apply to be on the Exec Board or to serve on a committee!
Applications are due by April 14 to our office in 2141 Tydings. Please see the attached document for all application materials. Elections will be held on April 21.

We are still recruiting volunteers for the induction ceremony. You must be free on Friday 4/17 from 2-3pm and Sunday 4/19 from 2-6pm. You will be awarded 2 points.

General Body Meeting--This Tuesday 4/21 6:30pm 0130TYDAt this meeting we will be holding elections (1 point) as well as a collection drive (1 point). It is possible to earn 2 points at this meeting!
Elections
We have extended the deadline for applying to serve on the Executive Board or a committee. Executive Board applications are due by noon on 4/21 to the office in 2141TYD. We will be electing next year's officers at the meeting that evening. Committee applications will be accepted until 4/28. Application materials are attached.
Collection Drive for Troop Care Packages
Please bring an item or two to donate in support of our troops overseas! The most requested items are individual drink flavor packets, beef jerky, coffee, protein bars, batteries AA and AAA, non-dairy creamers, sugar, Equal, Splenda and Easy Mac. Please see the attached document for a complete list. We will NOT be accepting glass containers or canned food.

1. Committee Applications
All applications are due on Tuesday 4/28 to 2141 Tydings. You can serve on the communications, event planning, academic affairs, volunteerism or finance and database committees. In serving on a committee, you earn 3 points a semester and gain valuable experience! Application forms are attached.
2. BBQ on Washington Quad 5/5
Weather permitting, we will have a spring BBQ on the Washington Quad from 5:30pm-7:00pm on Tuesday 5/5. There will be free food (kosher and vegetarian options available), as well as a raffle with proceeds going toward Relay for Life.
We need volunteers to help make this event happen! Email us back if you want to help...
--Grill burgers and hot dogs (need 3 people)--must show up at 5:00pm
--Organize and distribute food (6 people)
--Clean up afterwards (5 people)--must stay until the end
Members can earn 1 point for attending, while volunteers earn an extra point for their help. Please bring footballs, volleyballs, soccer balls, or anything else!
3. Relay for Life is 5/2
Don't forget to sign up at www.relayumd.org with Primannum Honor Society! If you are signed up with another group, but still want to help our team, you can! We will be available from 6:30pm to 7:30pm to sign you in to receive 1 point for attending. In addition, we will be accepting donations to go toward our team's goal. The suggested donation is $5.
