Our February general body meeting will be next Tuesday 2/3 at 6:30pm in 2141 Tydings. We will be making Valentine's Day cards to send to the same kids at NIH, who we made Halloween cards for. Come out and decorate some cards, and you will earn 1 point!
2. Primannum Honor Society May 2009 Graduating Seniors--Honor Cords
If you would like to purchase honor cords for graduation, please be sure you meet the following qualifications for honor cords. This year, you may contact us to pick up your cords as soon as you believe you are eligible instead of waiting until May.
How to get your honor cords --1. You must be graduating this semester (May 2009).
2. You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher .
3. You must have an average of 3 points per semester after induction. This applies even if you studied abroad. For example, if you were inducted in the Spring of 2006, you would have been active for 6 semesters (Fall 06, Spring 07, Fall 07, Spring 08, Fall 08, and Spring 09) and need 18 points. 2. Provide your: full name & UID.
3. We will check our database to make sure you qualify for honor cords. If you qualify, we will e-mail you further information on how to pick them up.
The Jo Anne J. Trow Scholarship for Sophomores is due Feb. 23. The New Inductee Scholarship is due March 13. Applications can be found at http://www.studentorg.umd.edu/prim/scholarships.html
