Welcome to SAM! For the latest and greatest information check out our Events section or see our Calendar.
We are a student chapter of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) and we are open to all students currently enrolled at the University of Maryland. Our membership consists primarily of students in the
College of Information Studies, from the Archives and the HiLS programs
(History and Library Science joint-masters program).
We host a number of Events each year, including tours of area archives and manuscript collections, and lectures by invited speakers on topics of interest. Please join us for upcoming meetings and events!
