Overview |
Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Incorporated is a Latina-based
sorority. As a national non-profit organization we strive to provide local, national and international community service.
As an organization we value the individualism of each one of our members. We take pride and find strength in the diversity that we represent. Through the bonds of sisterhood, we develop leadership, scholarship, sportsmanship and friendship. At Chi chapter we strive to meet the goals that we have as a national organization through the educational and cultural programs that we provide for our campus and the surrounding community. National Philanthopies:
As a chapter we have participated in several walks, including the March of Dimes Walk in Annapolis. We hold several fundraisers during the year so that we can donate money to our philanthropies. We also sponsor a young girl from Chile, Leslie. Click to view picture!
Other Activities: We are constantly participating in different activites on and off campus. We have volunteered at S.O.M.E. twice this year, held a food and clothes drive, among many other activities. For a more detailed list, view our past events in our
