Maryland Student Branch Membership

Joining SoBE is simple. All you have to do is come to our meetings and participate in our activities. Thanks to our recognition by the Student Government, we have university funding and as a result have no membership fee. Enjoy all the benefits of membership (pizza, subs, and soda at the meetings, discounts to SoBE sponsored events, great field trips and activities) for free!

The society has long been associated with ASABE, the Society for Engineering in Agricultural, Food, and Biological Systems. As of spring 2008, we are now also associated with BMES, the Society of BioMedical Engineers. As we grow these partnerships with professional societies we hope you continue to be a part of our community and help us grow.
