MODEL UNITED NATIONS / MODEL WORLD PARLIAMENT

MODEL UN
Terps for Global Solutions is looking to bring MUN back to UMCP. We are looking into a calender of MUN events around the region in which a UMCP team could participate. If you have prior experience in a Model UN simulation, want to learn how you can be a part of one at UMCP, and want to organize a MUN team, send an email to Tony Fleming describing your interest.

MODEL WORLD PARLIAMENT
For those interested in global democracy, the Model World Parliament simulation may interest you. Portraying government representatives to a UN conference on establishing a Global Parliamentary Assembly, participants in this simulation would address the democratic deficit in international decision-making today. Delegates will confront the issues of human rights, democracy and justice as they draft a mock treaty establishing a world parliament. If this interests you, please email Tony Fleming for more information.

The following resources are offered for those interested in participating in the simulation, or in the general concept of a world parliamentary body.
